The main purpose of this job is to develop, manage, retain and expand client relationships within the affluent market segment with responsibility for loan and deposit growth, revenue generation, and revenue growth. Essential functions include creating and executing a written marketing plan to develop/expand a portfolio of qualified client relationships through active calling targeting individuals in the private banking target market; identifying opportunities for the sale of investment management products and trust services; preparing and delivering client presentations; managing a portfolio of more than $25,000,000 and up to 350 relationships; making decisions within assigned lending authority or making and defending recommendations for credit extensions exceeding authority; managing banking components of client relationships to avoid principal loss; and performing other duties as assigned. Required knowledge and skills include strong banking industry knowledge, ability to meet sales and marketing goals, valid driver’s license and meeting driving record criteria, motivation and organization, strong communication skills, adaptability, and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Education and experience requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years in financial services or commercial/retail banking. The position requires authorization for motor vehicle driving record and credit history review. Compensation ranges from $91,000 to $107,000 annually, with eligibility for performance-based incentives and benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, paid vacation, and personal time, plus career development and education assistance.
