If you love culture, diversity, and the aloha spirit, it's all here for you. Job Summary/Description: KGMB (CBS), KHNL (NBC), and K5 are seeking a part-time Photojournalist. Hawaii News Now is the state's dominant multimedia news organization. This person must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. The successful candidate must have strong video photography skills. Experience with LIVEU and microwave live trucks is a plus. This includes a "digital first" mindset with a leading presence on Facebook, Twitter, hawaiinewsnow.com, as well as Instagram. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate must have a strong eye for video storytelling.
• We are looking for candidates who have advanced knowledge of photojournalism.
• Candidates must be a great communicator and should have natural leadership skills.
• Candidates must be able to sift through complicated issues and provide clarity to viewers and digital news consumers.
• Newscasts are fast-paced, “Happening Now” newscasts, filled with LIVE reports and breaking news from anywhere.
• Adjusting to situations is key, and thinking uniquely to break down events to contribute as needed.
• Multi-tasking is key as you will be juggling many things at once.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience with ENPS and Edius editing is a plus.
• LIVEU experience and microwave truck experience are a plus!
• Strong photography skills and knowledge of Hawaii.
• A college degree in journalism or related experience is required.
• Must be able to work extra hours, holidays, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
