Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida.

 

• State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
• The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
• Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
• 12 hour shifts with an option to do 24 based on prior experience
• Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
• All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
• Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
• Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

• Golisano Children's Hospital is part of Lee Health and the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami
• A stand alone 135 bed, 7-story facility that opened in 2017
• Home to southwest Florida's only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
• Minimum of a master's degree
