The Creative Technologist is an expert in current adtech and has a finger on the pulse for how technology can be best utilized in our client work. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to help our clients stay on the cutting edge of marketing. The ideal candidate for this position will be a creative, tech-savvy individual with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to continuously learn.

Creative Technologist falls somewhere between technology, design, and coding. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision coupled with technical proficiency to conceptualize, design, and implement immersive AR experiences and AI-driven solutions across various platforms and industries. You should be unafraid to take risks, explore new technologies, and assert your own ideas while working comfortably with the rest of your team, other departments, and clients.

You will support the wider team and be the driving force behind innovation and new approaches to make world-class work. You should also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an approachable way. And you should be a proactive problem-solver, with a drive to stay current on industry trends and explore new opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creative Innovation:
1. Explore and integrate new technologies to drive innovation and speculative tech solutions.
2. Brainstorm concepts with the creative team.
3. Analyze creative concepts, wireframes and prototypes and advise the team of any concerns and/or recommendations to contribute to project’s success.
4. Lead efforts for ongoing improvement of development infrastructure and optimization of development processes.
2. AR Design and Development:
1. Lead the ideation, conceptualization, and execution of innovative AR experiences leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into tangible AR applications.
3. Develop user-centric AR interfaces and interactions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
3. AI-Driven Design:
1. Utilize AI tools and techniques to enhance user experiences, personalize content, and optimize design processes.
2. Integrate AI functionalities seamlessly within AR experiences to deliver dynamic and responsive interactions.
4. Prototype and Iteration:
1. Create rapid prototypes and iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance metrics.
2. Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in AR and AI technologies, experimenting with new tools and techniques to push the boundaries of design innovation.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1. Work closely with accounts, creative, and stakeholders to align design objectives with project goals, timelines, and constraints.
2. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
3. Articulate complex technologies and ideas in a clear and simple manner to influence both internal and external stakeholders, as necessary.
6. Quality Assurance and Optimization:
1. Conduct thorough QA testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of AR and AI applications across multiple devices and platforms.
2. Optimize designs for scalability, performance, and accessibility, considering diverse user demographics and technological capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on AR and AI technologies.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
• Strong understanding of AR development frameworks (e.g., ARKit, ARCore), AI libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).
• Proven track record of delivering successful AR and AI projects from concept to launch, with a portfolio showcasing innovative designs and user experiences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
